Provider of Valentin Gibicar's services: Frizerske storitve, Valentin Lenart Gibičar, s.p. Valentin's services are provided and invoiced by his own sole-trader business, which is responsible for them and handles complaints about them; these terms apply to them accordingly.

2. Terms of business

2.1 Scope

These terms apply to all services that ANITINSTUDIO d.o.o. provides under the CARACTHAIR brand at the salon at Kotnikova ulica 34, Ljubljana, or at a location agreed with the client. By booking an appointment the client accepts these terms.

2.2 Booking

Book by phone, SMS or WhatsApp with Anita on +386 41 455 466 or Valentin on +386 51 754 576 (or online via Fresha), through the form on the website (which opens your app with a ready message) or at the salon. An appointment is booked once the salon confirms it. Opening hours are by appointment.

2.3 Prices and payment

We confirm the price before we start, at the consultation or when you arrive. The price cannot increase during the service without your agreement.
The current price list is available at the salon. Prices of ANITINSTUDIO d.o.o. include VAT; Valentin Lenart Gibičar, s.p. is not VAT registered, so his prices are final with no VAT.
Payment is due when the service is finished. Every payment receives a fiscally verified receipt.

2.4 Rescheduling and cancellation

You may reschedule or cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment, or up to 48 hours before longer colour services. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the service may be shortened or rescheduled, so the next client is not kept waiting.

2.5 Health and safety

Before the service, tell us about allergies and sensitivities (especially to hair colour), scalp conditions or injuries, pregnancy and recent chemical treatments. We use this information only to carry out the service safely (see 4.4).
Before a first colour or a change of colour we recommend a skin test 48 hours in advance.
We may decline or adapt a service if it could harm your health or your hair.

2.6 Satisfaction and corrections

If you are not happy with the result, tell us within 14 days of the service, and we will correct it free of charge, unless the cause is aftercare advice that was not followed or work by another provider after our visit. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

2.7 Gift cards and memberships

The value, validity and any limits of a gift card are printed on the card. The terms of any membership are agreed in writing when you join and are available at the salon.

For prepayments (gift cards, memberships) made more than three working days before the service is provided, the consumer is entitled to interest at the three-month term deposit rate of Banka Intesa Sanpaolo d.d., or to a discount on redemption at least equal to that interest (Article 34 ZVPot-1).

2.8 Photographs

We take or publish photographs of your hair only with your explicit consent (see 4.5).

2.9 Liability

The salon is liable for damage it causes while providing a service, as provided by law. It is not liable for damage resulting from the client not disclosing the information in 2.5 truthfully, or for personal belongings not handed over for safekeeping.

2.10 Changes and governing law

We may change these terms; a booked appointment is governed by the terms in force on the day it was booked. The law of the Republic of Slovenia applies.

3. Complaints and dispute resolution

If a service is not performed as agreed, you may ask for the fault to be remedied free of charge, for the service to be performed again, for a price reduction or for a refund (Article 100 of the Consumer Protection Act, ZVPot-1). Make your claim in person at the salon, by phone (Anita +386 41 455 466, Valentin +386 51 754 576), by e-mail to info@caracthair.top or in writing to Kotnikova ulica 34, 1000 Ljubljana.

If we do not dispute the claim, we meet it within 8 days. If we dispute it, we reply in writing within 8 days with our reasons (Article 101 ZVPot-1). When we reject a claim we also send you the statement on out-of-court dispute resolution below on a durable medium (e-mail or letter). We will try to settle any dispute by agreement.

ANITINSTUDIO d.o.o. does not recognise any out-of-court consumer dispute resolution provider as competent to resolve disputes a consumer might initiate (Article 32 of the Out-of-Court Settlement of Consumer Disputes Act). The list of providers is published by the Slovenian ministry responsible for the economy (gov.si).

4. Privacy

4.1 Controller

The controller of your personal data is ANITINSTUDIO d.o.o., Kotnikova ulica 34, 1000 Ljubljana, phone +386 41 455 466, e-mail info@caracthair.top. We process data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Slovenian Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-2).

4.2 Visiting the website

For every visit the server automatically records the IP address, time, requested address, browser and referring page. The purpose is security and operation of the site; the legal basis is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are kept for no more than 12 months.
The site uses no cookies, analytics, advertising tools or social-media plugins. Fonts and the map are served from our own server, so viewing the site sends your data to nobody else.
Links to Google Maps, Apple Maps, Instagram and WhatsApp open only when you click them; those providers' privacy rules then apply.

4.3 Booking and communication

When you message or call us we process what you send (name, phone number, requested service and time, your message, photos of your hair). The purpose is arranging and providing the service; the legal basis is entering into and performing a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The website form stores nothing: it opens your app (WhatsApp or SMS) and you send the message yourself. Meta's rules also apply to WhatsApp. We keep messages as long as needed for the appointment and no longer than 12 months after the last contact.

4.3a Online booking via Fresha

You can also book Valentin Gibicar on the Fresha platform (profile "Hairstyling Valentin Gibicar"), where you enter your name, contact details and the service you choose. The Fresha profile is Valentin Gibicar's personal account. Valentin works as a sole trader (Frizerske storitve, Valentin Lenart Gibičar, s.p.), so he himself is the controller of his clients' data, including Fresha bookings (contact: +386 51 754 576), not ANITINSTUDIO d.o.o.; Fresha.com SV Ltd processes it as his contracted processor and uses the EU standard contractual clauses for any transfer outside the EEA. Fresha's own privacy rules also apply to your Fresha account. The legal basis is entering into and performing a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

4.4 Client records and health information

For our professional work we keep a client record: name, phone number, services carried out, colours and formulas used. The legal basis is performance of the contract and our legitimate interest in repeating a service exactly (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We keep it for no more than 2 years after your last visit, or delete it sooner on request.
We note allergies, scalp sensitivity or pregnancy only if you tell us, and use them solely for your safety. The legal basis is your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.

4.5 Photographs

We take before-and-after photographs only with your consent. The photographs of our work on this website are published with the explicit consent of the clients shown. Publishing on Instagram or the website requires a separate consent, and we can hide your face on request. You may withdraw consent at any time; we then remove the photograph from our channels.

4.6 Receipts

Receipts are kept for ten years as required by VAT law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

4.7 Recipients and transfers

Data may be processed only by contracted processors we need to operate (accounting, website hosting, the till system, the Fresha booking platform) and by public authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell data or use it for automated decision-making or profiling. We do not transfer data outside the European Economic Area ourselves; if you use WhatsApp or Instagram, Meta also processes data under its own rules, and if you book via Fresha, so does Fresha.com SV Ltd (see 4.3a).

4.8 Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Make a request by e-mail to info@caracthair.top, by phone, at the salon or in writing to our address; we reply within one month. You may complain to the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, ip-rs.si.

4.9 Minors

For children under 15, data is provided and consent given by a parent or legal guardian.

5. Cookies

The website sets no cookies and stores nothing else in your browser, which is why it shows no consent banner. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent before using any non-essential cookies.
